Good Morning Men of God,
Nobody is more equipped to lead your family than you. Regardless of how hard It is sometimes; God has uniquely equipped and positioned you as the head of your household. It was not by accident. Nobody can take the authority God has given you. There are no rivals. You submit to God the Father for guidance. Your family follows your lead. Being a Father and/or Husband is a calling. It is a gift from God. We have to make sure that our lives reflect our understanding of the importance of this calling. We will never have all the answers. We will never get everything right. Our determination to lead effectively must be demonstrated in our dedication to proper preparation. I can't want to lose weight, but never exercise and eat like a pig. In the same manner, I can't say I-want to be the Husband and Father my family needs without doing the work. As a Godly man my prayer, reading, worship, and serving time must be a foundation of my life. I can't be content with the morning devotionals. Our resolve to be equipped as leaders demands that we seek the Father with reckless abandon. Make it a priority today. There is no other way to accept the call to headship, but on your knees in prayer.
