For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you; but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

Good Morning Men of God,
We should find very little similariy with the world we live in. Look in the mirror! You are a royal priesthood. A chosen Man of God. Whatever we do, say, watch, and listen to should tell a different story than our worldly counterparts. Our lives should reflect the Savior that was born Into this world to die for us. After we have left the prayer closet and put the Bible down, our actions should still show our heart for Jesus Christ. Our text today shows us that we make a statement when we don't participate in worldly outlets. It is noticed that we are not drinking, or cussing, or participating in lude behavior. We will all have to give account for our life on earth. Let's honor God with our devotion to his will and character. We give others the strength to live for God when they see the unwavering standard we hold up Remember, we are called to be in the world, not of it.
