For you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the Rock of your refuge; therefore, though you plant pleasant plants and sow the vine-branch of a stranger, though you make them grow on the day that you plant them, and make them blossom in the morning that you sow, yet the harvest will flee away in a day of grief and incurable pain.
Isaiah 17:10-11 ESV
Good Morning Men of God,
Enduring hardship is a part of life. Regardless of what stage of life we are at or the the responsibilities we have; it is a guarantee that a part of our journey will be dealing with pain that causes sadness but also encourages physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Our text this morning is another reminder of where our focus should be. We know that satan is attacking and hardships loom. We mus always reflect on a couple of things. One, God is our Protector He is our Defender. He is our Salvation, Hope and our Foundation. It is our security in Him that gives us the Hope and Faith that enables us to endure hardship. If we build our lives and chase success without acknowledging God as Sovereign ruler and Lord over our lives, then what we acquire is almost certainly forecasted to be dashed away. When we allow God to guide us, we are secure even in the day of grief and incurable pain. Anchor yourself and hope in the God who is your refuge today!
Love you Guys,
