Deeds of the Lord

November 16, 2018

They have lyre and harp, tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts, but they do not regard the deeds of the Lord , or see the work of his hands. Therefore my people go into exile for lack of knowledge; their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst.

Isaiah 5:12‭-‬13 ESV

Good Morning Men of God,

We are very blessed.  Even if there are things you would like to have  you are still more fortunate than 90% of the world's population.  God is given us a lot.  He did not stop with the ultimate sacrifice. He did not stop with the propitiation of our sins.  No,  every day he showers us with his grace and mercy.  The people of God in our text were experiencing God's favor.  But once life got good,  they forgot about God. That eventually caused their exile.  They called on him in bondage,  but forgot about him once delivered. Today,  be filled with knowledge! Know that it is God who provides.  He who sustains.  As we continue to exalt the Father,  he will continue to bless us.  I challenge you today to thank God not just for the obvious,  but also the overlooked blessings in your life. He deserves gratitude for it all!

Love you guys,

Patrick
