No Surprises

But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions." It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

Jude 1:17‭-‬21 ESV

Good Morning Men of God,

The news has gotten depressing. When you turn on the radio or TV you see death, destruction, and world pleasures. It is astonishing what our world has become It really should not surprise us though. In the same way a meteorologist can look at the looming clouds and predict a storm, the mood of our nation and world was forecast in scripture. We should not be surprised, we should be ready! If we read our scripture for today, I think you would agree it accurately describes the status of our environment. We must respond by keeping ourselves in God's love. That means we understand that he who created this world, loves us and has not abandoned us. Regardless of the condition of our environment, God is still on the Throne, and he loves you. Today, do your part to prepare yourself and your families to exist in this world. Make sure your children understand God loves them. Ensure you are contributing to the spiritual growth of your wife. Would you allow them to leave the house on a rainy day without an umbrella? Of course you wouldn't! Don't let them go into this world unprepared.

Love you Guys!

Patrick
