to me
For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Titus 3:3-7 ESV
Good Morning Men of God,
As much as possible I like to take a praise break. A praise break is when you look yourself in the mirror and see how insufficient and unqualified you are without Jesus Christ. Then you remember that because of HIS sacrifice, you are whole and new in HIM. That deserves a shout! Somewhere in the first few lines of our text today, you will find a description of your old self. We need to identify with that old person and use it as a catalyst to rejoice over our new creation in Christ Jesus our Lord and Ruler. He looked at us and saw through the facade, the lies, and the words. He saw our dirty, unworthy self, and he still died and rose for us. Hallelujah Jesus! I encourage you to live for HIS glory today. Take a few minutes and just thank him.
Love you Guys,
Patrick
