No Words!

They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

Titus 1:16 ESV

Good Morning Men of God,

What do your actions say? If your life over the past 6 ,months was muted, and all people were able to see was your actions, what would they say? Would your actions say you were an loving Father, a sports enthusiast, a hard worker? We can fill the world up with words that do not mean a thing. It is our actions that dictate what we truly believe. In our text today, we see Paul describing a class of people called detestable in the eyes of God. Not the fleshly sinner, but the profession christian without actions to support what he or she is professing We have to be willing to stand for Jesus and lead by word and deed. We all profess Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. We proclaim to put our faith in HIM Therefore art work, at home, and how we live should support that proclamation. Notice that none of the examples of what your actions would say in the third sentence of this blog are bad. Loving Father, Sports Enthusiast, Hard Worker are not bad descriptions. They only become bad when they are unbalanced. If Faithful Servant of God ( or some form of this) does not lead your description, we need to reevaluate where we put our time and attention. I don't know about you, but I do not want my God in Heaven describing me as "detestable"..
