And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:14 ESV
Morning Men of God,
Satan has an impressive short game.He is an aged foe that prowls waiting for someone to devour. We all know the scripture, he comes to kill steal and destroy(John 10:10). He does not mount his attack on us in some elaborate, obvious scheme. Satan's attack on the Man of God is often subtle. Like our scripture says this morning, he disguises himself in a way that by the time we realize we have been tricked, it may be too late. Thank God for Jesus! Regardless of how crafty Satan is, if we stay connected to the Father HE will guide us around the attacks. He will give us Godly perception to discern situations and distance yourself from being drawn into sin. But like everything else, it takes effort on our behalf. God our Father is there to protect us. We have to build that love relationship through prayer, studying the Bible, and submitting to God daily. If we allow Satan to devour us, we are allowing him to devour those we love. Most of us have some form of protection in our homes to guard against intruders. Worse than any worldly robber or thief is a thief that desires to steal the eternity of those we love. Find yourself in prayer and submission today. Don't be fooled by Satan's short game.
Love you guys,
Patrick
