Don't Get Lost

Matthew 28:18-20 English Standard Version (ESV)

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Morning Men of God,

The road of life has so many distractions. Even good things happening around us can draw our attention away from what is truly important. It is very easy to get lost in life. What do I mean by that? As believers we are called to make disciples . This is one of the last instruction Jesus Christ gave his followers before he ascended into heaven. In modern society we do this mainly through seeking God and living a life that exalts HIM. When we allow the Holy Spirit to flow through us, we are led to situations and opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Getting lost happens when we do not put in the work to make ourselves available to be this vessel of discipleship. We get lost when we get content or even overwhelmed with life and we fall out of daily communion with the Father. I encourage you each today to remember your calling as followers of Christ. Commit to putting in the time to fellowship with the Father daily. This closeness keeps us connected to HIS spirit. That connectivity allows us to be used and led by the Holy Spirit to follow the instructions of Matthew 28:18-20. Don't allow the duties of the day, or the "busyness" of life to cause you to forget why we are here. You are an ambassador of Christ, sent on this journey of life to make disciples for Jesus Christ. Don't Get Lost!

Love you Guys!

Patrick
