Morning Men of God,

Being a Husband, Father, Son, and/or Brother are all hard jobs. We serve as protector, lover, helper, and anything else that our homes, and those within needs. The spiritual, physical, and economical direction of our families sits at our feet. It can all be overwhelming sometimes. We are called to be peacemakers through loving our wives and admonishing our children. There is so much responsibility that comes with our roles in life. If I am not careful, I can begin to feel overwhelmed, and even a little down on myself. Then something happens.... I WAKE UP AND STOP BEING SOFT!!!!!!. Yes it is a lot. Yes it can be stressful!  God did not form you by accident. He made us each warriors and protectors empowered by HIS direction. Fueled with Faith, and Driven by His Holy Spirit. The text today tells us to stand firm in Faith, act like men, and be strong! This does not mean that we don't make mistakes. This means that we do not try to shoulder the burden of our role alone. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast our burdens on the Lord. Are you doing that? I encourage you each to take a survey on yourself today Do you feel stressed? Are you always worried? Is anxiety ever present in your life? If  you answered "yes" to any of these questions I encourage you to draw closer to HIM today. MAN UP, and understand that our shoulders were not meant to carry the burden. We are his vessels. His power at work in us makes what we are called to do possible. Without HIM, the task is impossible.

Love you Guys,

Patrick
